Hello Glen Park Families:
It was great to see so many families at Parent-Teacher Conferences. It takes a village to raise a child. The ongoing partnership we build together will have lasting positive effects on your child’s success. If you did not have a conference, it is never too late. Please feel free to arrange a meeting with your child’s teacher by writing in his/ her planner or by calling the school.
We are so proud of the 4 students who represented Glen Park at the Family of Schools Junior Speech Competition on Thursday, February 16th.
Next week will be a busy one at Glen Park! After Family Day, our Junior Students take to the ice again in their 2nd of 3 skating trips at Forest Hill Arena. It is very important that our junior students come straight to the gym on Tuesday morning and find their teacher for attendance.
Also, on Tuesday evening some of our grade 1 students will be participating in the Underground Railroad beginning at 5:00pm.
On Thursday evening, we look forward to our Parent Engagement Meeting beginning at 6:30pm. The focus is: “Kids Have Stress Too”. This promises to be a very informative session. There will be babysitting available in the gym and light refreshments will be served. Please RSVP to Kari if you are planning to attend (ksardella@rogers.com)
Finally, on Friday morning we will have our monthly Super Aces Assembly at 8:45am to celebrate the achievements of our students this month!
Please note, Tuesday will be a Day 4, as there was no school for students on Friday and Monday.
