CODE OF CONDUCT

At Glen Park , students are expected to:
• Come to school each day prepared to learn
• Be respectful
• Be cooperative
• Be responsible
• Be safe
Students are entitled to:
• Fair and respectful treatment from peers and staff
• A high standard of education
• Freedom from physical, emotional, and verbal harassment
• A safe and supportive learning environment
Students are responsible for:
• Attending school regularly and punctually
• Respecting the rights, feelings, and property of others
• Resolving problems (conflicts) using words
• Completing work to the best of their ability
• Showing courtesy and self-discipline in actions and words
• Knowing and obeying rules and procedures (for example: school,
lunchroom, class, and bus routines)
Staff are entitled to:
• Respect, cooperation, and support from all students and parents
• Appropriate and considerate behaviour
• A conscientious attitude towards learning
Staff are responsible for:
• Promoting student self-esteem
• Planning and delivering effective and stimulating programs
• Managing disciplined, organized, and safe classrooms
